Bonjour Ellen and Diane! This is their first summer with their new line, so we are excited to present to you Cape Cod Baby Company! Ellen and Diane, two new moms, created a new line specifically for Cape Cod little ones.

Their new venture began with the birth of their own bundles of joy. Seeing that there was a need for a local baby line they went straight to the designing board. Living on the Cape for so long they came to realize that the Cape offers a unique lifestyle to those growing up here.

Entrepreneurs Diane O’Dowd (Harwich, MA) and Ellen McPartlan (South Yarmouth, MA) founded the Cape Cod Baby Company in 2010 after serving the Chatham community for more than 10 years moving them to start their own local business.

Having both worked in the restaurant industry for other entrepreneurs--O’Dowd in Boston and Ocean City, New Jersey and McPartlan in New York City and California--they decided to start their own venture in 2010 with the Cape Cod Baby Company.
